Insects encouraged to damage crops

And the farmers love them

Taiwans farmers have learnt to harness nature and so actively encourage insects known as leaf hoppers to nibble at their crops. This causes the leaves to start to oxidize and to create a uniquely sweet flavour. This flavour has a hint of chocolate or honey, almost Toblerone in effect. This means that you can drink a healthy, sweet drink without the need for sugar or milk.
